My initial visit was very informative and Dr. Kimura was very professional. My second visit was a different experience. For reasons unknown to me I was asked what last name I went by, which my husband who was present thought was odd. I did too, since I have been married almost 5 yrs, so what name would I go by other than what I made the appt under, the referral, and my insurance was under? I only saw a PA who asked me if I was there with a cough to clear my throat. Yes, I clearly had a referral and going through all this hassle simply because I have been trying to clear my throat (sarcasm). This irritated me so much that over the next few mins of her citing things in my record and about circumstance (which were incorrect at times) I just sat there thinking this is a total waste of my time. Finally at the end of the visit she listened to my lungs only to say there was no wheezing. Wheezing was never a complaint or symptom I had, so I literally left without anymore help or information than I already had. The PA also called to fill the prescription instead of file it, but at first my pharmacist did not know why I recieved the home call stating my prescription was ready for p/u. Turns out, the meds were called in under my maiden name (weird!). Then today I get a bill stating I did not pay a copay from my initial visit, which I have record of. I think I was given a referral to an asthma specialists perhaps in error, but now I am dealing with additional problems that should have never occured. I do believe Dr. Kimura is a very professional and intelligent physician and so was the staff I interacted with that initial visit. The staff relating to the previous stated issues left me frustrated.
