I had a good experience there for a while, but when I had blood pressure that was very difficult to handle, I got my own cardiologist to handle it.
I told the doctor in person of this, saying it was not a vote against his expertise, but that I had a history of this type of problem…I politely said that I wanted to continue with the other parts of my care there. I had hired a cardiologist years ago while seeing another doctor for other things, and I had no idea there would be an issue. The doctor dropped me like a hot potato without any communication whatsoever. I wrote a letter very respectfully explaining it all. I asked if we could discuss the issue. But he literally disappeared on me…never heard from him whatsoever. Wow, such a SIN I committed. At the least, we could have talked together in an adult fashion about this. But apparently he did not care very much. If he had an issue, he should have said so and discussed it with me like an adult. Patients invest in a relationship with a doctor. He also did this just when I was having mysterious symptoms of great concern of another kind…he could not diagnose it, and it turned out to be cancer. WATCH OUT.

The head nurse (Cookie), though very friendly, does not follow up like promised. She was suppose to send blood results to my cardiologist on several occasions and never did. They had a new assistant nurse drawing blood and poked my arm several times, after I told her they would not be able to draw blood from my left arm. My arm turned black and blue from this experience. Cookie had to come in to draw my blood. During my next visit, it was the same thing and I told the young nurse about my left arm and how it turned black and blue that last time she tried to draw blood. She left the room and sent Cookie in. Cookie was quite short with me, telling me I'm making her nurse very nervous with my comments. I informed her it was my arm that turned back and blue and that it wasn't happening again. Over the past couple years, I believe the quality of care and lack of personalization has gone down hill.

Always a great experience with doctor and staff. I cannot praise them enough. They have provided excellent care and direction in maintaining and improving our families health through all the years.

I am highly unsatisfied with the level of care I received here. I was misinformed on preparing for my blood tests, was given the wrong information (they were looking at a different patient's file), and then told to get an ultrasound. After the results came back 'normal,' I was told to come back 'in about 3 months,' even though my abnormal blood levels were never explained!

I asked the office why I have had such a poor experience with them and why they feel it is OK to tell me to come back in a few months when they still haven't explained why my levels are abnormal, or explain how things/communication became so botched up at the office, and they said the doctor would call me. Guess what? He never did. The anxiety caused to me and my family, the money I've spent on all the tests, and the lack of care in my situation has absolutely ruined this experience for me.

I have filed a formal complaint with my insurance company against this doctor's office, and urge any other individuals to reconsider going someplace where they have NO clue what they are doing.
