Dr. Elliot is not very good pain management specialist. I have gone through several pain medications with no relief and when I have called the office on 4 occasions to get help my calls were never returned. I am sorry but not a good doctor at all. She lack compassion, does not listen to the patient and only worries about her own issues. I would not recommend here to anyone needing pain management.

NEVER EVER USE THIS QUACK DR. ESPECIALLY IF THIS IS A WORKMAN'S COMP INJURY CASE...SHE IS BOUGHT AND PAID FOR BY GALLAGER BASSETT AND WILL BREAK THE LAW FOR THEM.

She preformed a Bogus Neurology Exam on me ordered by Susan Akin at Gallagher Bassett when my Dr. referred me for lower back pain

I suffered Cranial Shock when I fell and blacked out....this woman poked my feet with a pin, pushed on my toes and hit
my knees with a rubber mallet and said my Neurology was Fine...Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not Only did this woman Break the Law she paid NO ATTENTION to my back pain complaints acting as if I was wasting her time.

When I asked her Why she wasn't checking my spine , she retorted she had a Note from Susan Akin(the Gallagher Bassett Insurance Adjustor) to do a Neurology Exam

IT IS AGAINST THE LAW FOR AN INSURANCE ADJUSTOR TO OVERIDE A DR'S REFFERRAL.....

NEVER EVER USE THIS ELLIOT....

Dr. Elliot is lazy and dishonest. She cares more about being licensed as a doctor than actually being a healer to her patients. Her own interests far outweigh and assistance to her patients.

I have never been so badly treated by office staff at a doctor's office in my entire life. I was referred to Dr. Theresa Elliot-Genovese by my local physician, and called to make an appointment. First, the receptionist called me several times during an hour to gather more and more information (including telling me that my initial appointment will be a consultation, and she--the office lady--wasn't sure that the doctor could help me). Eventually she requested that I obtain coding for my insurance (which is not how the system works). For all of the MANY doctors I have seen after an accident that left me as an amputee not one of them has ever requested that I obtain insurance coding myself. Patients do not have access to these codes--that is one of the tasks that the insurance specialist in the office (probably her) is paid to do. To top it off, the receptionist requested that I mail to her all of my records pertaining to the issue I was referred for, including all images taken in the last 3 yrs. These documents needed to arrive before the appointment where the doctor would determine if she could help me (ie. before examining me). Not only was this woman rude, she was misinformed, and downright hostile. I would NEVER recommend this doctor's office to any patient. While I have no comment on the care Dr. Elliot-Genovese provides, her services cannot be worth being mistreated by office staff. I will take my health care needs elsewhere, and suggest you do as well.
