Yes! He/she took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude.

The below patient should be corrected. Our office first confirmed her insurance benefits. This she did not believe. She called herself. She had a high deductible, and would have to pay for most of her surgery. Our out-patient facility saves our patients the expenses of hospitals, and it is a far more pleasant experience. Few physicians offer this, in an even less risky environment. Neither do we charge for the use of the lasers. It is disheartening to see a decision which, will result in post-operative pain and a very long recovery, which would otherwise be nearly painless and take only weeks. Best of luck to them.

Dr. Peter Kelly is a very rude and condescending man, For some reason unbeknownst to me his financial department gave the phone to the doctor, after speaking to him on the phone and I feel that I have made the right choice to go else where. The customer should not be the one making phone calls to insurance company to get information, it is the providers job to find out whet the customer needs to pay. Also make sure that this provider is in your network, because he doesn't want to bill the insurance. He made be known that he only wanted his money, it's the first time I felt like I would be better off if I didn't have insurance.
