They seemed to have known the basics of my medical history before my examination. They asked the usual questions but didn't go into much detail. They always take the time to listen to me. I know they really care about me and what I have to say. I love how friendly and welcoming they are here. They always go out of their way to make me feel right at home and comfortable. It was not easy to reach them in an emergency. I had to call several times before I finally reached them.

I was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction from a small town an hour away after my water broke at 33 weeks gestation. It was my first pregnancy, and my husband and I were so frightened. We were assigned to Dr. Robbins and were quickly put at ease. Dr. Robbins is calm, very compassionate, and thoroughly competent. With his help I was able to give the baby a few more weeks in utero and then safely and naturally deliver a beautiful, healthy baby boy. Dr. Robbins came to check on me almost every day when I was in the hosptal, even his days off. One day he couldn't come in, so he asked his associate to look in on me. I wish we lived in Grand Junction so that I could see Dr. Robbins for my next pregnancy!

Dr. Robbins definitely knows what he's doing. He is super nice, and has a great sense of humor too. When I was in labor with my daughter he really impressed me because he let me call the shots. I didn't want drugs, and even though I was in a lot of pain, and she got stuck, he let me call the shots. He made suggestions and told me everything that was happening, but didn't push anything on me. He has been practicing for a lot of years, and he's a great doctor. I highly recommend him.
