I developed painful, swollen and stiff knuckles about a year ago. My feet then started to hurt. I spent three months going to my family doctor (he thought I was just getting old) and an orthopedist (he kept giving me injections). I found Dr. Rocca on the internet. It took a few weeks to get in to see him but on the FIRST visit he diagnosed my problem and started a new medicine. Within three days, I was back to my old self. It's been nine months now and I feel great. This guy knows what he's doing. And his receptionist is a very friendly and highly efficient lady; she's got a great British accent that I never tire of hearing.

I had a scheduled appointment and when I arrived on time I was told by the receptionist that my appointment was canceled. According to the receptionist it is the office policy and procedure to cancel appointments if a patient don't confirm his or her appointment. I never received a call or message from anyone in their office asking me to contact them to confirm my appointment. I called the office to schedule an appointment and if I was unable to keep the appointment, I would have called the office to cancel any scheduled appointment. The experience was totally unacceptable because I took valuable time off work to keep my appointment.

To have taken a day off of work to keep my appointment and to drive to their office only to be told the appointment was canceled seemed unfair. Why didn't someone from the office call me the morning of the apointment to inform me the appointment was canceled. It was a total waste of my time and effort to drive to their office to keep my appointment only to be told the appointment was canceled.

Anyone thinking of making an appointment to see this doctor better make sure you have a confirmed appointment. Or, you may have the same unpleasant experience as I did by wasting your time. It was a totally unfair experience.
