Family Denal charged me $1000.00 for a porcelain crown, with my insurance. I have since transfered to Downey Dental, where I been charged $400.00 for a a porcelain corown. Family dental refuses to do cleanings every six months, they cited insurance didn't cover two cleanings a year. I have also since found out my insurance does cover cleanings every six months. Something is wrong at family Dental Center in Downey CA. I was also scheduled for services I do not need- deep cleaning, irrigation.... They are ripping people off for services they do not need and charging double the cost for services they do need. I'm very disapointed and disheartened to learn the depth of which I was taken for granted- as a patient. I will never visit family dental center again.
