DDr. Walsh has been extremely wonderful. She is very caring. Her office staff leaves a lot to be desired, however. If it wasn't for Dr. Walsh; I would go somewhere else. They are rude on the phone-very curt-almost to the point of being argumentative.

Not at all, I didn't notice a smell.
Does this provider maintain a professional appearance?
Absolutely! You can tell that he/she really makes an effort to look professional
Did this provider's staff seem to respect him/her?
Definitely! They staff spoke very highly of him/her
Does this provider promptly return your phone calls?
Definitely! They always call me back very quickly!

They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most. I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. They always made sure that I wasn't in any pain.

Several mistakes including a prescription that the patient was highly allergic too. Ended up having to give emergency oxygen to the patient.

Office is NOT handicap accessible at all and the offices are very small and not super clean.

On average patients wait approx 30-45 minutes to be seen from their appt time.

Orders tests that are not always necessary and then does not even send some of them into labs.

As much as I hate going to the doctors office I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Lewerenz-Walsh. She is very easy to talk to and constantly trying to meet my every need. After reading the previous post I thought I would let you guys know that on my last visit I noticed new personnel in her staff who seemed to make my visit smoother then ever and I have never had a complaint about the office's cleanliness. Every visit I was able to leave with confidence. Unfortunately I will be moving from Bradenton shortly because of a job transfer and one of the only things I will miss is the service I was provided by this Dr.

The two reviewers that rated Dr Lewerenz-Walsh on this site are inacurate and could not be more wrong. She is an amazing Dr. who has nothing but the patients well being at heart. This caring is what causes her to run late with patients and keep others waiting. If They want a doctor that does not care let them go to the county health clinic, or rural health care where they are run in and out like cattle. I have been seeing Dr. Lewerenz-Walsh for nearly 4 years and have seen amazing changes in the office from the cheery atmosphere changed by adding bright colors in the office to the new staff which is so much more personable than the old staff. Now I am greeted by a smile, the nurses listen to my issues and make my visit as comfortable as possible. The rater that stated the office is not handicap accessable is blind. There is a ramp in the front entrance for those that are in need of it.

If you like privacy, and to have your concerns heard then this isn't the doctor for you. I have had 3 appts with Dr. Lewerenz Walsh and will not return. Their is no privacy in this office, the nurses leave the doors open when getting a history on you. There's no sinks in the room so who knows if they are washing their hands before performing card. There's no paper on the exam tables. Be prepaired to wait over an hour to only be seen by the doctor for under one minute. She has a way of disappearing from the room before your eyes and before you know it the nurse is excusing you. No bedside manor at all! Also during the extreme wait times you get to read the wonderful bulletin boards that say her patients are waiting her time and many more nasty things she has to say about her patients. I was flabergasted to read her postings. Do not go to this doctor if you care about your health!!!
