Today I had an appointment at 4:00pm for one of my 6-year old twins at West Orange Family Medical. We waited until 5:20pm until I had to leave and we STILL had not been seen. They then didn't want to refund the co-pay. Nobody was keeping us updated, I had to ask multiple times what the holdup was. When we finally were leaving, we walk past the doctor sitting in an office eating birthday cake. HORRIBLE PATIENT CARE!!!! We ended up having to bring my son to an urgent care clinic so he could get a prescription for his ear infection. If the doctor was running behind, we should have been notified BEFORE coming to our appointment. They also should have kept us updated.

Their office was nice and quiet. I was worried it would be overly loud but it was fine. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. I never had to doubt their qualifications. They made their credentials completely obvious, which made me feel a lot safer. One of the first things I noticed about this business was the level of detail and attention to make the building handicap-accessible. Even the bathrooms were designed to be accessible with doors wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and grab bars in the stalls. You could tell they really made an effort to accommodate people with all different needs. Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable.
