Their equipment was current, nothing special though. I wish they would update it a little more. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. Dr Colondy was rude once making inappropriate and insulting jokes about a potential cause for my illness. Very unprofessional. In another case, I went back to his office to review x-ray slides. But after a long wait (this was a pre-scheduled visit), he showed up with the slides and was explaining something totally illogical. Then I asked him if he was talking about another patient. He realized that he had the wrong slides from another patients.

I trust Doctor Colodny. He has always been helpful. He is a true professional and I have confidence in him. His billing department can be iffy at times but that is Advocate and not the doctors issue. If you are looking for a general Doctor for yourself and family I would highly recommend him.

I had to wait a while after I arrived for my appointment. I was given a polite greeting when I walked in. For a family doctor, they are rather cold and unfriendly. I would prefer it if they weren't so distant and impersonal. When I was escorted back to the exam room, I noticed a man sitting at a desk surfing the internet. after 20 minutes of waiting in the exam room, the doctor came in, and it was the man who I had seen online. He spent about 5 minutes with me. I never went back.

I am a school nurse and one of my students visited him for a physical exam. They had their immunization record with them, and specifically asked if there was anything needed to get their son up to date on vaccines. Dr. Colodny said no. Upon my review, I noted that this student has not had a polio vaccine after the age of 4, which is required by the state of Illinois. So now the parents have to go back to a health care provider to receive this vaccine. They requested a list of trusted pediatricians in the area, which I provided for them.
