I went to Dr. Orcah-Tettah for a crown. DON'T GO HERE! My buildup was very painful, lots of blood, sore for days. The crown didn't fit properly, more blood, and pain. The metal is showing through. I expected it to be white porcelain, but it looks like I have a cavity because she had to drill it to fit.

I took my older two children for a first visit to see Cynthia Miller in June. They were in and out of a supposed exam and cleaning in under 15 minutes, which I found incredibly odd. I thought possibly she had some assistants helping her with the appointments like a dental hygienist and/or assistant, but I was unable to find out for sure since she was too busy to review their appointments with me, which I also found unusual for a dentist.

The next time, I had appointment for myself and my youngest child, which was our first visit in her office on Oct. 28, 2013. Again, my youngest child and I were in and out within 15 minutes. What I learned: She has no assistant or hygienist working with her so she tries to do everything herself. She does an incredibly sloppy job of examining, cleaning and taking partial x-rays. She was in and out of the office, very dismissive and has very poor communication skills. At one point she hands me a cup of water and a funnel and walked away. I said, "Excuse me. Would you like me to rinse now or wait until you're finished cleaning?" She said, "Oh rinse now." I couldn't believe it since she barely cleaned my teeth, just the fronts. I would not recommend her at all. I have insurance and intent to file a complaint with my provider as well. I believe she does list all these services on her invoices as having been provided to patients, but in actuality fails to provide proper service at the very bare minimum/acceptable level.

This was easily the worst cleaning/dental exam I have ever had. I waited months to get into this office because Cigna "hadn't sent them their new patient list". I called Cigna several times and they kept telling me (and even called the office while I was on the phone with them) that their lists are now online and the dentist just had to look it up. I kept my faith though, I figured that with such great previous reviews it would be worth the wait to have a good local dentist. Boy, I was wrong!

For new patients:
There is no dental hygienist. This means your cleanings are done by the doctor. I had Dr. Miller, she is really rough and made my gums bleed terribly. I take really good care of my teeth and my gums NEVER bleed! Also, my "exam" consisted of 2 bitewing X-rays that looked at maybe 6 teeth total. Not nearly enough for a new patient.

I have a wisdom tooth that is starting to come in and because my mouth is so small, I don't feel like I am keeping it clean enough. Dr. Miller didn't even mention the tooth, I had to ask about it. She said and I quote, "Just get in there and clean it". The tooth is coming in sideways! Of course I am trying to clean it, I am telling you I have problems doing this!

I grew up with family in dentistry. I was appalled at the conditions of the room I was in. The office has suction spit cups, and the cup in my room was filthy. I took special note of the rest of the equipment and none of it was much better. I am concerned about the sanitization practices at this office.

After my whole 10 minute cleaning/exam with Dr. Miller I promptly left and complained to Cigna and will be writing a letter to the office. I sincerely am concerned about the quality of care here. Please don't make the same mistake I did.
