He treated my girlfriend and mine root canal. The pain was unbelievable even though he gave me over 4 shots. Not to mention that he did not reach to the end of the root so he had to cemented. this happened not only to me but also my girlfriend, whose root canal had to be redone. i will not come back at all. bad.

I've read some of these reviews and am surprised people had a bad experience. My regular dentist sent me there last week for an emergency evaluation and root canal. I was in terrible pain. At first I thought the visit was going to be a disaster because it was in a dumpy two family in Astoria. Don't judge a book by its cover. The dentist was one of the best I've ever been to, and I've had everybody from periodontists to implant specialists. Dr. Liao diagnosed my serious problem carefully and thoughtfully, then drew me a picture of the affected teeth to explain the course of treatment. He addressed all my questions in detail and made sure I understood. During the procedure, I felt no pain and the assistant was with me every minute, like waiting for the novacaine to take effect. This doc also teaches at NYU. I really felt like I was in good hands, the one thing you want in a crisis situation. Am recommending highly, and not just for emergencies.

The doctor did not prescribe any medication after a visit, and as a result, my parent got a terrible infection that spread, had to have two teeth extracted, and has seen multiple dentists since the visit with Dr. Liao. The doctor was made aware of what happened and did not even follow up. His license should be taken away and he should be reviewed and sanctioned by the medical board of New York State.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future.
