I felt Dr. Olivo was extremely competent. I enjoyed his staff, they were very friendly. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I've been doing to Dr Olivo for years. He is excellent at dermatology and very thorough. The staff are receptive and friendly. It does take a few weeks to get an appointment.

Horrible experience. The office manager is the doctor's wife and she is a loud mouthed, rude, obnoxious person who has no regard for patient's privacy. She rules the office with an iron fist but has no idea what she is doing. The office staff is also useless

Dr. Olivo did an excellent job of removing cancer from my nose with a minimum of scarring and disfigurement. The staff was friendly, helpful and informative as was Dr. Olivo.I was always asked if I had any questions or concerns and to call if any should arise. I feel I was very well cared for.

I initially went to Dr. Olivo 6 years ago for MOHS surgery on a skin cancer growth. Dr. Olivo was very caring, concerned and took as much time as possible and the procedure went well. There did seem to be a lot of staff conflict with the Doctor and always a long wait. Jump 6 years later......Olivo removed a small skin growth that he said was probably nothing. Next thing I know, I am in for another MOHS surgery. The closing process did not go well as I was not nub enough. I made it clear I was hurting and he did not seem to care. After done, I let him know how horrible it was and he just rushed out, to go to the next room.......to tend to his DOG! Who apparently comes to work every day. One of his staff members stated "What a pain the dog is and only listens to him". I observed while I waited and watched him go to other patients rooms, that he would stop in the room with his DOG between each person. No follow up call, not even when I did not show up to have stitches removed. I felt I would be better pulling them myself. I will never be back. Something has gone wrong in this mans practice.

This practice is just ridiculous. The staff is very unfriendly, the wait time is at least 2 hours and that is on a good day! Anytime I have ever had an appointment I have been there at least 2 1/2 hours or more. The waiting room is always packed. Evening appoinments are never available. The staff offers no excuses for the delays, there is a sign on the wall that actually says to
" be patient, when it is your turn the Doctor will give you all the time you need" I have just recently (yesterday) had a followup appointment and after 1 1/2 hours of waiting and with 3 people still in front of me, and I had another appointment down the street, I walked out! I am annoyed that I take vacation time, and I feel that my time is just as valuable as his. I will not be rescheduling, and sincerly hope that they don't send me a bill for cancelling, I should send them a bill for lost vacation time. There is no excuse for having to wait anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 hours for a routine dermatology exam!!! Totally unacceptable on any level!!!

Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. They were friendly at some point but because i had to wait a long time when they finally got to me, they were rushing and made a few mistakes. I really appreciated the kindness of both the doctor and staff, i do but staff has some type of attitude with the doctor in front of me that I wonder if they know who's the boss and pays their bills. The wait was too long, at the end there were mistakes one after the other, trying to call back but no response or the phone is busy

MY EXPERIENCE: April - June, 2013
GUARANTEE: you, dear patient, will wait no less than an hour and ten minutes in a tired, neglected waiting room before a brow-beaten, nonetheless pleasant woman escorts you to the inner sanctum. There you'll cool your heels another fifteen minutes before the surgically enhanced face and improbable head of hair finally appears.
Without so much as an apology, he gets right down to his business: schitck followed by momentary attention to your problem. He'll then string you (and your health insurance) along for as many appointments as possible. Meantime, observe how he demeans his staff (especially Melissa.) How those poor gals work for such an abusive schmuck, I'll never know.
You, dear patient, deserve so much better than Matthew Olivo. Find another dermatologist.
