Blakehurst was the cleanest, most friendly and had the best amenities of all the retirement communities that we toured in the area. This was our first choice by far and we are so glad that we made it our home.

Blakehurst Retirement Community has been great each time I visit my grandmother. I went to visit her for her birthday and they were very accommodating. They allowed us to have a special lunch for her in the private dining room and also had a birthday celebration where we were able to bring cake for her and all of her friends at Blakehurst. The employees are very friendly and remember your names even when you don't visit that often.

The people are outstanding and helpful at Blakehurst Retirement Community in Towson. The dining room was one of the finest places I have ever eaten in. I had visited this community four times to try different meals at different times to make sure they did not just fix me something good the first time. We had been invited to a bridge activity, and we played bridge there. We also went there during a special social hour where people just get together. They had recreational facilities and exercise rooms.

Blakehurst is phenomenal! My mother really seems to love it here! It's a beautiful, clean community, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful! They have events going on all the time to keep the residents entertained, and the meal service is fantastic, I've eaten here multiple times!

We toured Blakehurst when we were looking into senior living options for my mother. This was a nice looking place! Better than the others we toured in the area. It was clean and well kept, and the staff all seemed very friendly. From what I saw during the tour the residents appeared to be very active and social.

They do a very good job at Blakehurst Retirement Community, I'd give them top marks across the board! I can't think of anything they could do better, they're just a good community overall. They're resident oriented, and treat everybody who lives there like family. They're also priced very well for the level of service they're able to provide!

My mom is very happy at Blakehurst. They are always friendly when I come to visit here. My mom has her own one bedroom apartment. She has been here for 5 months. She has made some good friends and enjoys meals with her friends and sitting outside and visiting. She has really gotten involved in all the activities they offer. She plays bridge 4 evenings a week. She attends exercise classes every morning.
She really enjoys the restaurant style meals. Lots of choices. You also can eat when you want.

Every time that I visit my mother-in-law at her home, Blakehurst Retirement Community, there is a feeling that it is indeed her home as she knows it, a place where at this time in her life she feels safe and that allows the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to also feel safe every day. The environment is extraordinarily comfortable and there is plenty of room to find a quiet place to be or places where you can find 'friends' to visit with. The staff is equally extraordinary and they seem truly interested in the well-being of my mother-in-law as well as all other residents. You do get the feeling that they like everyone and care about everyone:) Our family loves Blakehurst!

I've been enjoying Blakehurst a lot, I'd give it a 5 out of 5! The staff are very friendly, and I really appreciate how accommodating they are. They're great about listening to your concerns and making sure that the issues are resolved quickly!

Blakehurst is a great community. Clean, enjoyable with the nicest one bedroom apartments of all the retirement communities we toured in the area. Many activities also. It rates 5 stars with us.
