Nursing staff doesn't log in so the next shift does not have current information on patient. Because of this each shift has a different story. The doctor who only comes in once a week, therefore doesn't have time to address concerns of all of his patients. Will not take responsibility of his decisions, he passes them off to the nursing staff who's hands are tied. Physical and Occupational Therapy is excellent although the gym is filthy. Dead flies are everywhere, ants are crawling on the equipment. Just as everywhere some of the staff can be trusted, most can't. I have a positive attitude. This place has made me very bitter. I told nurses that something was very wrong with me. All they did was increase my pain medication until I insisted on going to the hospital, At OHSU infections were found Cascade Terrace never checked for. The place is a house of horrors!

Not really. It felt like they just cared about making money.

Yes, they were able to do almost nothing they originally said they could

My 1st cousin has been at Cascade Terrace for a number of months and will probably be there for the rest of her life. She seems very happy and well taken care of which is extremely important.
I visit her once a week with my dog Kylie which really brightens my cousin's day. As soon as I come in the front door the receptionist (I don't know her name) comes out to greet Kylie. This just makes it a much more enjoyable visit since they really encourage visitors to bring pets in for visits.
This nursing center really does a great job to make the patients and visitors as comfortable as possible.

Not really, it wasn't very clean

I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. I left with no question unanswered. They were so thorough with their answers and really went above and beyond to ensure I had a great understanding of their nursing home. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional.
