I have a great cut and style every time I go. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My mother, daughter and I all have our hair cut and colored their. My mom is letting her grey hair grow out naturally after years of coloring and they are great about managing the process.

The salon is easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. I called ahead because they can be busy, but with planing it is easy to get an appointment.
I got a perm from Robyn. My hair turned out great! Now I have long hair with soft curls. The product she recommended makes styling easy. I felt that they really valued me as a client.
Their staff is very friendly and professional.

I love the JCPenny Salon in Olympia and they have many great stylists there. I'm always curious and watch as people leave and they always look great. It's nice when I can pay other customers an unsolicited compliment as the leave like I did on my last visit. My 25-year-old son and 13-year old daughter both love Robin. She's a great stylist and can do everything from classic looks to the hip, cool, messy-style cuts my kids like. They get out of bed, shake their heads and they have a great tousled look that can be finger-combed and look perfect. My daughter first saw her a couple years ago and had HATED combing her thick, unruly hair. Robin combed-out tangles that were fast becoming dreadlocks, thinned her hair out and gave her the cutest, easy-care cut she's ever had. My son was downright in LOVE with his cut and when he walked out into the mall, got compliments on it right away! My 20-year-old daughter and I get our hair colored and see Deb W. She is a real master at color mixing and is great about giving advice and steering you in the right direction to get the look you want. She is also flexible with cutting and styling for every age and look, is super thorough and listens well to your comments. Prices are reasonable there and while Master Stylists like Robin and Deb W. cost just a bit more, I've come in for spur-of-the-moment cuts, seen newer stylists and still had great experiences. They do ask if you need hair products, but what salon doesn't? They've never been pushy about it. I just tell them I've got plenty at home and that's that. First-timers can get a coupon book with a discount for their next cut (so ask for that). The four of us give this salon 8 thumbs up!
