Pleased once again with the care my pet received at the Animal Hospital in Gordon County!! I took my puppy in with parvo, certain I wouldn't be bringing her home. Due to the vigilant care given by Dr. Jay and Betsy, my puppy is healthy once again. The clinic has always done what was necessary to help my pets when they have been in distress. More importantly, they have spent time talking with me about preventative measures I can take to keep my pets from getting sick. We are lucky in Gordon County to have such dedicated doctors!!

My dog and I love visiting this Animal Hospital! Drs. Jay and Betsy Hendley have always gone above and beyond in helping my dog, whatever her problem. They obviously enjoy animals and always listen to all of my dog's complaints no matter how busy they are. Everytime I leave here, my dog and I are confident we've gotten the best treatment around. I would recommend Drs. Jay and Betsy to anyone.

All of my experiences with the doctors and staff at Animal Hospital of Gordon County have been wonderful. The Drs. Hendley are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and caring. I have had pets for a long time, have known several veterinarians, and have even worked in a vet clinic myself--but AHGC is definitely the place where I have felt the most comfortable leaving my animals. The staff is obviously comprised of animal lovers and I know my babies are always treated with the best everyone there has to offer. I also think that their prices are reasonable and comparable. Thank you, AHGC!!

Dr. Betsy and Dr. Jay are the best. They always listen to my concerns and make educated, accurate diagnoses. I feel they honestly have my pet's best interest in mind and give my pet the best treatment possible. I will without a doubt continue to see them for all my pets' needs.

The Doctors and staff at this hospital are WONDERFUL! When are beloved dog was dying of cancer, they went above and beyond to make sure we could make the most of his remaining time while helping us to make sure he didn't suffer in the process. They even came to our home to put him down so that he could be comfortable in his final moments (he would shake and get scared going to new places). They have also tended to our other animals and helped us very quickly when we had an emergency with our other dog. We have also boarded our dogs with them and felt at ease that they were well cared for. Dr. Betsy even sent me pics on my cell phone of them playing in the yard while we were away. I would not trust my babies with anyone else!

They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. I felt very rushed. They barely spent two minutes with me and almost completely ignored me. Betsy Hendley is a joke that calls herself a vet. She is rude, looks down her nose at people, second guesses every thing she says and very un-proffessional to say the least. I would not give her air if she were at the bottom of a well!!!

They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about them forgetting something or not reading my information correctly, which I've encountered at other places. I appreciated that they were still concerned about my health even after I left the office. They followed up with me after my appointment and everything. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me.

I called ahead of time and they said to come in and see her. I drove 15 miles oneway and when I arrived I overheard that you could not go in with your pet. It was very crowded in the waiting area some people were standing. The receptionist almost yells accross the room that they will have to keep my cat overnite without examing her. I thought that I would get to talk with the vet at some point and see if she needed to stay overnite actually it would have been 2-3 nites because this was a Sat and a holiday weekend. I told her that I would discuss this with the vet once he had seen my cat. She went into the back and returned saying I needed her records and that she had to stay overnite in order for the vet to see her. I told her you never mentioned bringing record before I came and then said ok after she kept pressuring me to let her stay. I was becoming uncomfortable because she was discussing this in front of all the people waiting. I told her that I thought it was inappropriate to continue discussing this in front of everone. A lady from the back came with some papers and said we can't see your cat because we are to busy I said why didn't you all tell me this before I drove all this way and waited for 45 minutes. She said we said we could see you? I said yes she went into the back again and returned saying you refused to let your cat stay overnite. I said let me make this perfectly clear I never refused to let my cat stay. She then mumbled sorry we are to busy and refered me to the emergency clinic. I couldn't believe how I was treated and my cat. It seemed like it was all about money and not animal care.
