Dr. Norelli is one of the best vets around, a great surgeon, and has taken wonderful care of our dogs for 20 years. He takes his time, is thorough, answers questions, and is kind and gentle to the dogs. He has diagnosed and cured our dogs of many ailments over the years and our dogs love to visit. Kathy always has treats for them. They really make a great team, working together well to give our dogs all the attention they need, no matter what the situation is. What's not to love? I recommend Dr. Norelli to all of my local dog friends. If you want your pets to be as healthy as possible, call the Shirley Animal Clinic.

Dr.Norelli and Kathy are the best. I have been taking my dogs for more years than I can think of. My dog had surgery recently and was in the best of care. My dogs are my babies and I trust the Norelli's better than any Vet around. They have charts with what they did and what meds were given on both my animals. And are reasonable on prices. They are also very caring. They also take the time to answer any questions you have. They are not (old) but are experienced. As far as med prices they go up and down according to where they are being bought. Companies are constantly changes their prices so the Vets anywhere have to compensate. I recommend Dr. Norelli to anyone that wants their animals to stay healthy.

1. The place is FILTHY. Not even close to hygienic. Have you been out back? Have you seen the kennels they keep your dog in if they have surgery?! All of the kennels are stuffed with junk (papers, books, ect...) except for two. It's beyond a joke, and stepping into how-can-MA-let-them-still-practice.

2. They are old and make mistakes all the time. Medicine prices are all over the price, never charged the same amount twice. Been given the WRONG medicine before. Been charged for the wrong amount of pills. They don't even know what medicines they prescribe to my dog. I'm questioned as to what they are giving them each time I go in. Why can't they write it down?! I shouldn't be in charge of that. I am no doctor.

3. When giving shots, they do not wash their hands first. Don't shave the area to make finding a vein easier. I've seen him wipe hairs off the tip of the needle with his bare disgusting hands, and insert the needle back into my dog.

4. If you have any street smarts, taking one look at the inside of this place should tell you to run. Cheaper is not better. Pay the extra $ for the sake of your dog and go elsewhere.

Kathy and Dr.Norelli are the best. They always do what's right for our pets and and at a very reasonable cost. The advice and guidance is caring and knowledgable. I have taken my pets to them for over 20 years and would go nowhere else.

We have always taken my parents pets here,and in the last few years after moving out to begin my OWN family,I was so thankful to have a LOW cost veterinary office to rake my own animals to too! And after taking our family pets to tue for the last 15 or more years,I have NEVER once had an experience to deter me from returning:)... Dr.Norelli may not have dome hi-tech office building OR any of the latest technology. But the upside is that they actually live in one side of the building and work out of the other,so when my pets have had to stay over after surgeries ,I know that they are genuinely cared for around the clock!? AND he and his wife Kathy always refer you to the closest office in case of a procedure which they cannot perform in their own facility! I would recommend them to anyone that truly cares for their pets and EVEN if you don't have a million dollar budget ,they will make sure that your pet receive the care that they need :)

I went to Shirley Animal Clinic because I was in a desperate situation to find help for ear mites for my cats. I had tried Petco's services, which were fine, but the ear mites were so bad that I had to go multiple times, and my one cat was so unruly that they said I needed to bring him to a vet. Being frugal, I wanted the least expensive, but good quality, in my area. There was not much online, but I think between the few good reviews I read and the cost I would incur of taking my cats to Dr. Norelli, I was convinced it was the best choice.

I do not regret it. I have had experiences in the past where the vets (understandably) do not allow you to touch your pet while they are treating them. Dr. Norelli was very gentle and genuinely caring. He trusted me to know my own pet and what would be the best approach. In times when they could give me suggestions without seeing my cats, they have.

It is a small practice in a small town and they are obviously small town people, but they love animals and the people that bring them. I highly recommend them, and have. My friend said she was very pleased upon my recommendation.

(The reason for the .5 star deduction is that there is little online to learn about them. I do not believe they even have a website.)

Dr. Norelli and his wife Kathy are amazing. You couldn't ask for a better team. The doc is so kind and caring to our 4 dogs, Rickey, Lucey, Spencer and Skylar and Kathy gives them treats so much so that Lucey goes looking for her in the back office after each visit with the doc! We wouldn't think of taking our babies elsewhere. They would never suggest a procedure or product that wasn't necessary, and have never pressured us. They have always been very considerate and professional. They are so kind and attentive to us and our dogs. We don't have to worry about them arguing with us, or contradicting what we have to say. We love Dr Norelli and Kathy because they always go above and beyond our expectations.
