Went to urgent care and received a brace for my sons broken finger. Then received a bill for the brace stating it was the "ONLY BILL YOU WILL RECEIVE" I was charged $60 for a finger splint that can be found online for $5. They were able to reduce the item 10% to $54 but still feels like highway robbery.

This is regarding equipment that I ALLEGEDLY received during a hospital stay. I never received the item and they keep harassing me about the bill; even sending to collections without really looking into the situation fully. NEVER want to deal with these people again!!

Horrible way to do business. I was in a car accident, went to hospital, ended up in crutches. I was sent one bill before they sent me to collections. I think a second bill or a phone call would have sufficed, considering my lawyer is trying to obtain the other insurance responsibility. One bill? then collections? Really? Sad how they have to do business.
