Absolutely unacceptable customer service experience. The staff were completely unprofessional and the location office is truly subpar. If there was an option for zero score rating, it would be quite fitting.
FRAUD. I was referred to West Home Health Care in May for a CPAP machine for sleep apnea. I called numerous times in June and was told they were still waiting for approval from my health insurance. My health care plan ended on June 30 and I had reached my deductible. My new health care plan started on July 1. It was not until September 6 that I was able to get an appointment to pick up my device. During the appointment I was told that because I had not reached my deductible for the new plan year, I had to $213 up front for the device and then they were charge me $68 per month for 10 months to rent the device. That totals over $800. I was told by Anthem that if West Home Health Care had processed my claim in June, I would have paid no deductible because I had reached the max for that plan year and my monthly rental fee would have been lower. I'm convinced they are scamming patients. I have filed a complaint with Anthem and Bon Secours St. Mary's Sleep Center. If you are referred to them, insist on being referred to another medical device provider.
The worst possible service ever. No timely coordination with insurance, or hospital release time and absolutely no effort made to prioritize or remedy the situation. A walker that was due at release "may be delivered whenever when we're in the area" with no commitment to next day service, let alone same day, only "in the next few days." Completely unacceptable. Never use this service!!! We will never do again.
Have had to file a fraud complaint with Medicare and notify the State Inspector General regarding the Power Wheelchair Division of this Company. After I did that, the Richmond Office was spread across 4 different States late last year. This regards West Home Health Care. Today, I found that the phone no for billing question has been disconnected. The area code is in the State of Louisiana. Payments are sent to Kentucky Bills are sent from PA.
I use a power wheelchair which I purchased from them. Originally they were good to work with,but last year they got rid of their service department and I can not find anyone to help me with repairs, new tires etc on my Permobil C300 power chair. they are totally worthless and no longer care about their consumers. It seems to me when you are running a business that aids people with disabilities you should have some compassion. They are all about the money.
Have dealt with them since 2003 and couldn't be more pleased with service and staff. I had several repair issues and thought I would be responsible for payment, but they handled all communication with Medicare and supplemental insurance and I had no bill. In addition, when my electric chair needed service, there was no problem. Within the hour the service department had my chair repaired and I was on my way.
My experience has been nothing less than excellent.
I have been trying to get in touch with them for days. They have not bothered to return my phone calls or even answer the phone. Does anyone know how to reach them. Guess I will have to call Medicare with these concerns. My Mom needs this equipment!!!!
