Phenomenal therapist who truly understood me, my family, and our issues. She paid attention to the details and followed up with me when she inherently knew that I needed followed up. She connected with each member of my family in a different way. She was rational, well-spoken, and very direct, which I appreciated. Judy clearly knows her materials well, and cares about her clients. I would highly recommend her as a therapist to anyone going through marriage and/or family troubles. On top of everything, she puts herself together well, and her office is a comfortable and warm place to be.
Judy Zisk Lincoff was in over her head with the circumstances that were presented to her when I dealt with her for marriage counseling. She over simplified things and often inserted her personal minutiae into a very complex and troubling marriage. She would lead into answers and not follow through to see if it was reflective to both parties: to see was was reality in the marriage. I was often asked what I wanted - I knew it was not as simple as a date night, or a tone of voice. The tone of voice changed for a short while, but I knew it was deeper and I was not helped to the point of knowing what I wanted was to be safe, connected and loved, all of which were lacking. By the way sex does not equal love. Another thing that was over simplified.
