I went in for an eye exam. Due to a medical condition the optometrist was unable to write a prescription for new glasses until I went to my MD and got a prescription to control eye pressure. He said to come back when I had done this and he would finish the exam and write a prescription. Just called to get an appointment. Now because they had already billed my insurance they want to bill me again even though the first exam was pointless. Oh and they don't have a real optometrist anymore so the receptionist wasn't even sure if I could get more than one appointment if necessary. Thank you for absolutely nothing. Literally.

Both my husband and I did our eye exam here and purchased our frames here. I was disappointed at the selection of frames available. The staff was always very helpful. We both needed our initial lens changed. We purchased the super-duper, high quality Nikon, everything so we would not have scratches on the lens. It seems you can never get the lens clean, always a "film" and hard to clean. I have always rinsed them with water and then sprayed with lens cleaner and wiped with the micro cloth they sell. I still have scratches. Not the fault of the staff, but I believe fault of the company they use. My husband's lens falls out all the time. We went back and they did put in. After a couple of times, we just put them back in. We will not purchase eye wear here again. Love the staff and very nice however!

I called for an appointment and was scheduled right away. Dr. Randall has a very nice personality and is very knowledgeable. He explained all the test. After my eye exam, Jackie, the Optician showed my all the frames from which I could choose--from $49 to $200. Great selection. She was good at picking frames that would fit my face and lenses the best. For instance, I have very thick lenses (BAD eyes!) and she suggested smaller frames so the glasses wouldn't be so heavy. She told me she has over 30 years experience helping patients with glass wear, so I felt confident with what we both picked out. I would recommend WalMart Vision Center to my friends--even though I kind of am a WalMart snob! ;^)
