What a dump, my dog has gone to cleanier kennels. You can never get anyone to answer your questions since no one but the receptionist ever answers the phone. Doctors or staff never communicate with family.

To this day, I don't have a clue why I was locked up in that mental institution. After being in Lakeland hospital on life support for Pneumonia. I was taken to Sunny Brook Hospital for a few days . Then I was taken by squad car to this mental institution. I have never been arrested in my life, then being locked up in a mental ward was a shock. I'm from out of state. Not a day goes by that I don't think of it. I had just bought a winter home in the Lakeland area. I'm debating about going back. Men and women together constant fighting over the TV, and places to set. Some were real nut cases. not enough beds. Worst thing about it is this mental place will be on my medical records for life. The two worst weeks out of my life can't be replaced. I wouldn't give it one star.

I was in there 3 days and it reminded my of a prison for the mentally ill. The staff was ok, food was terrible and overall hospital and equipement was very outdated somewhere from the 50's.
I don't recommend it at all.

This hospital is refusing to let my 81 year old father out. He was transferred there from another county. They refuse to give me any information. They are medicating him and I don't know what they are giving him. Everytime I visit him, they are giving him yet another pill that was not the same as the day before.
This hospital is keeping him against his will. He is not mentally ill but they are making up things to keep him in and collect the Medicare money.
NO ONE should EVER be subjected to the incompetence and the failure of communication between shift. They have been told at least 10 times that the reason why my Dad is not able to walk is because he hurt his back when he fell trying to help someone. They have lied on their forms and said he has a problem balancing himself.
I have had to hire an attorney to try to get him out of this place. They are keeping a sane and successful businessman in a hospital for mentally ill people and falsely collecting money from Medicare.
This place needs to be closed down now!

Not the worst, but certainly not the best

No. It took me several times to get through.
