When I first arrived at Kindred Hospital Pittsburgh I did not think I'd walk again. Once I began physical therapy I realized how fortunate I was to have such a wonderful experience. Not only that, I met some wonderful caring nurses and staff. Physical therapy encouraged me to work slowly at my goals and with their help .... I was able to take my first steps in months. The physical therapy team believed in me and believed I could regain my strength and walk again. I am very happy I chose Kindred Hospital Pittsburgh.

After spending two plus weeks at another hospital in grave condition, I was admitted to Kindred Hospital Pittsburgh. My recovery was quick at Kindred, after 8 days I was discharged and sent home to my wonderful family. I would like to thanks all the doctors and wonderful nursing staff that provided all the hard work, effort and patience during my recovery .

Being a former nurse, I would be honored to work side by side with these wonderful nurses. A nursing team whom I came to trust and depend on. Respiratory was wonderful and very efficient. I received excellent care from the entire staff. Their level of expertise on this ICU unit really amazed me. I felt safe and well cared for at all times. I honestly cannot say enough great things about the 6th floor nurses at Kindred Hospital Pittsburgh. I will miss you all, Maggie

Teamwork. The entire staff on the 6th floor worked together on behalf of the patient. My stay was a good one, I would return to Kindred Hospital Pittsburgh and would reccommend Kindred to everyone.

During my ordeal everything was wonderful. All of my nurses and aids were wonderful, each and everyone of them always answered by call bell and my questions.
We have noticed everyone enjoys there work here at Kindred. When you truly care about people it shows. Nurse Nancy was on the spot, always kept me and my room clean. Cory was my wound care nurse, my wounds are so much better. Audrey was one of the many nice Nurses AIDS, always friendly and compassionate. Physical therapy was so important in my recovery, thank you Antonio and staff for all the encouragement and care. This has been my second trip to Kindred, I would come back again if needed. When my wife calls from home to check on me, the entire staff is more than courteous and always have time for her questions and concerns. Everything single employee from the Nurses to the Doctors and all the positions inbetween were so good to me. These comments are right from my heart. The 5 stars are very deserving.

My Mom liked the personal touch. All of the nurses on the 3rd floor were caring and compassionate. Mom also liked the patient relations representative, she called her my "little angel", my mom enjoyed the daily visits and welcomed her daily word search puzzles. Mom was also pleased with her doctor at Kindred, he visited every day and kept Mom and our family updated on Moms progress. The food was good, by the end of her stay, Mom was back to eating a majority of her meals.
Kindred Hospital Pittsburgh deserves 5 stars. Thanks from the family of Ann Treemarchi

I would definitely reccommend Kindred Hospital Pittsburgh . The entire staff was very supportive. I would like to extend a special thank- you to Jess and Clare, two very special nurses. I feel communication is the key when your loved one is sick, Jess and Clare were very good at educating me on procedures and care pertaining to my father's illness. The respiratory team played a valuable role in the process of weaning my father from the ventilator. The team was very professional and educated, friendly and always available for questions. I was impressed and comforted by the design of the ICU unit. All of the rooms were private with glass walls and doors. My father was in constant view of the nurses and respiratory therapists. The housekeeping staff kept my fathers room very clean , everyone was so nice. If my father would need acute hospital care in the future, I would choose Kindred Hospital Pittsburgh.

Someone ask me what I liked about Kindred Hospital Pittsburgh or what I did not like. So far I have found only Good! The entire hospital staff at Kindred is so efficient and caring. I love them all.
They make me smile when I feel like crying. They care about MY opinion ,
they care about me. The doctors on staff at Kindred have wonderful bedside manners, they even make me smile.

I would reccommend Kindred Hospital Pittsburgh to everyone. I reccommend Kindred for care that counts!
