I want to thank the staff at Kindred Hospital -Sahara and let it be known that I have witnessed nothing short of a modern day miracle. I say modern because so many I have met will comment, " how come miracles only happened two thousand years ago." We'll look no further than the case of John, my dear friend and co-worker. John was ejected from a vehicle the beginning of 2015. For several months, John had the appearance of a lost cause. John barely survived a catastrophic event, received skin grafts, needed ventilator support, etc. Most everyone who treated John in the beginning months gave John grave reports and with good intention felt "John will never be back" and "too much brain damage" etc. From the moment John arrived at Kindred Hospital - Sahara, the staff thought outside the box and went above and beyond to help stimulate John's mind. They had a private room in ICUS available and gave it to John, where they provided him with his own radio for music therapy. John really enjoyed listening to his music. Often times during my visits, John was in his wheelchair either being wheeled throughout the facility by all levels of staff/management having him interact with every employee who passed by. I observed each employee who passed by John stop to talk with him without fail. John began using a laptop again which helped with memory function and fine motor skills. Kindred Hospital - Sahara advocated for John and was able to transition John to a brain injury rehab facility where John has continued to progress significantly. On John's last day at Kindred Sahara, then entire staff threw John a graduation party so to speak. They even sent the patient advocate with John to the new rehab facility to ensure his transition was smooth and to put John's mind at ease. I wish I found such people, and is the people, not the building for my loved ones. Praise to the management, for genuine care starts at the top and shows up at the front line. The employees at Kindred Hospital/wound care were wonderful. Everyone took the time to explain the procedures and especially the Hyperbaric chamber. My mom was so comfortable and relaxed each day before the dive due to the patient and kind staff members. It was quite a journey getting my mom here each day but it was worth it. Her leg wound is improving so fast we couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you.

I was impressed from the time my sister was admitted via ambulance from the hospital. All staff, nursing, dietary, environmental, therapy, and wound care are professional, friendly, and caring. The amazement is with their genuine concern for their patients. They answer questions, or refer you to the folks/depts to assist with any concerns. The care is exceptional to so many other long term facilities who would benefit from cross training with the staff here at Kindred.

I had a ruff start but this place has made me a believer in amazing health care. Kindred is very honest and they work with you to find the best care for you. They will have all that you need to find out any medical problems you may have. I am so happy I have they sent me to kindred and I would refer this place to everyone all over. Thanks kindred for giving me your all and helping me out so much ...

I have been a patient here for three weeks. The care I received was outstanding. Every person here was always respectful to me and I am grateful. I have so many favorite people, but I can't remember their names. Thank you for taking good care of me. I get discharged today and I am ready.

The kindred wound clinic is the most wonderfull medical facility I have evere experienced. The staff both medical and other personal are not only very profecent and profesional but they are also extremely welcoming. I actually enjoy entering the office and conversing with the staff.

The staff is so wonderful they treat use with respect and they are kind people ... The front desk ms Lory is very profesional and very nices to my husband and my self make use feel welcome and very comfortable from the beginning ... We would not change you guys thank u for giving use good people ...and the doctor is very profesional and very good Dr Gelfand makes use feel welcome and comfortable I personally would recommend people to kindred wound care .. Thank you so much

I have been a patient at Kindred Hospital Sahara for a month and during my stay, I've received excellent care. The nurses, aides, therapy staff and respiratory are exceptional and I wouldn't be going home tomorrow if it wasn't for their attentiveness and expertise. They each got to know me as a person and were always helpful. I believe the patient representative role is so important for patients. I always knew I had a go to person to be there just for me. The case manager is also wonderful. Thank you for everything.

I've been in hyperbaric treatment 8 times now. And it works! The staff (wound care and hyperbraric) prior to this round the Doctors left me no hope of keeping my leg. Now it looks like it will heal completely!! Thank you to the Kindred Wound care and Hyperbariic team.
