I have had a great experience at Kindred Sahara. My favorite employees were Vanessa and Kelli who are amazing techs and Strati, Josh, Dennis, Millie and Kristen who are all extremely patient, kind and pleasant. I'm excited to go to Rehab. Thank you for everything. -Brenda

My mom was in a skilled nursing facility and then an LTAC (neither of which were Kindred facilities) prior to our stay at Kindred Hospital Sahara. We did not have great experience prior to coming here. Dr. Raps, neurologist immediately addressed her medicines and made major changes which have greatly improved her status. The pulmonologist and Respiratory team has made great progress on weaning my mom, so I would like to thank Christy, Jay and Jenn, RTs for their help in weaning. I have found the infectious disease Doctor has not provided good communication to me and is not open to feedback. I would like to give kudos to the following nurses: Arnett, Meron, Maddie, Sally, Sheila, Steve, Roger and Kathy. I would also like to extend thanks to CNAs: Zee, Ebony, John L. And Mena. The therapy here is great and I want to thank Millie especially for working with my mom. I am grateful for the patient advocate, Ann who I know I can work with to ensure my mom and I are happy with care.

I had one nurse I do not feel took great care of my mom and that was Grace.

I would definitely recommend this LTAC.

My experience with Las Vegas pulmo skilled nursing facilities that take trach patients care was extremely poor and I'm concerned about transitioning her to a skilled nursing facility due to past experience. My hope is Kindred Case Management can successfully work with our insurance to keep my mom here through the weaning process to ensure the opportunity of discharging to a regular SNF or home not a pulmo SNF. We have excellent insurance which I'm happy with.

I have received very good care at Kindred Hospital Sahara. Andre, my PA deserves a 10 out of 10 for great care. The nurses and therapy also took great care of me. My only suggestion is to offer Kosher meals to patients who request it. Thank you. R.T.

I am the sister to a very special person, a brother who I love dearly. We share a very special bond and we always have been close. Several months ago, my brother suffered a heart attack, followed by a stroke. My brother resides in Las Vegas, while I live in Oklahoma City and my other brother lives in San Antonio, TX. For life threatening reasons, my brother was admitted to Kindred Hospital Sahara awaiting acceptance for a heart transplant. Kindred Hospital Sahara has been a God send for my brother and for our family.

Being so far away from him was a burden at first that laid heavy on our hearts and minds. When my brother was first admitted, I would lay awake in the midnight hours with tears flowing. I would beg and plead with God to just keep him safe until something by way of a miracle could manifest. What I did not know or realize was the miracle had already occured! The miracle was him being admitted into Kindred Sahara!

From administration to physicians, nurses, aides, case management, his patient advocate, dietary, even housekeeping-they have all been a blessing to us. When my brother arrived at Kindred knowing the prognosis, I was preparing for the worst. He was in dire medical distress. However due to the high personalized quality of care that he received at Kindred Sahara, he has overcome many obstacles that could have resulted in his death.

I just want to say thank you Kindred Hospital Sahara!! I really mean this with all that is in me. I thank God for your facility, all of your professional and highly skilled staff for the care and concern and spirit of family love shown to my brother. The Kindred staff has made not only a difference in my brother's life and health, they have given back to us, his family hope for tomorrow.

I was previously a patient at a Kindred facility in Peoria AZ and received excellent care. When I had to be hospitalized here in Las Vegas, I chose to receive care at Kindred Hospital Sahara.

Everyone has been extremely friendly during my stay. The nursing staff were very efficient in their roles. The therapy staff were extremely helpful. They helped me get stronger with walking. The physicians were good with communicating with me. Ann, my pt advocate was very helpful in addressing my questions and requests. Overall, everyone was extremely helpful. I would recommend Kindred Hospital Sahara to anyone needing hospital care.
