I took my teen son to see him. He has adhd and anger issues. He had a great Christian perspective of mental health and helped us talk through our problems. He was very patient and had good suggestons for my son in dealing with his anger. I felt supported and would highly recommend him for family counceling.

I was referred to Dr. Burnham through a friends father-in-law who is a pastor for professional help for my mother. My mother has a lifelong history of depression (runs in family) and prior to coming to Dr. Burnham had previous attempts at taking her life. His "help" was so far off the mark and set back progress for my mother by miles and miles... I do not recommend this man to anyone. It got so bad that I told him with about 10 minutes left in session that this would be our only appointment with him. You don't keep business based on my experience in his office, you don't help those that need it either with his actions during session.

Dr. Burnham recommended I start taking Zoloft on top of my Adderall. These two drugs have major interactions and I suffered from a substance induced mood disorder that resulted in a divorce. I fully trusted his recommendations and can not believe that someone with a Ph.D. in Psychology would not know the dangers of the two drugs together. He caused significant damage to my life, which I have now thankfully been able to put behind me. Now as a psychology student, I am baffled at his approach to psychology. After leaving Dr. Burnham and seeing a psychiatrist, I found out that my situation greatly improved under the help of a true professional, which blasted Dr. Burnham for seeing me for over a year on these two drugs that could have killed me.
