doctors office is like boot camp, they claim they know about thyroid and hormones, they cancelled my appointment after they realized that it was me from 2104. They have below 0 knowledge of anything except spine, big waste of time!!!!.

Appalled! Went for treatment for an autoimmune disease. Before I knew what was happening I was told I must have some diagnostic testing prior to my treatment plan being set up. While everyone was amicable and polite, my instincts told me that something was not right. I was there the first day a total of 2 1/2 hours, saw someone who allegedly was a physician who literally spent 10 minutes in conversation with me that had no substance to it. Then was ushered to see Dr. Maz, who sounded knowledgeable of his theory of why people were getting autoimmune diseases. Then ushered to a physical therapist which I questioned WHY am I with the PT? I was told it was for pain management as I had pain in my back and neck. Then ushered AGAIN for some crazy breath test that almost looked made up. WHY I asked and what was the reason for this? Then ushered yet AGAIN for some nutty electrode analysis testing of my brain!! The list goes on and on. All the while I kept asking "Is this covered by my insurance?" YES was the answer. We take your insurance was the response from the office manager. I was told to come the following day for the diagnosis and evaluation meeting with the primary doctor, Dr. Maz. I arrived the next day, was never seen by the doctor, but was told to see the PT for another treatment which consisted of a back massage with some vibrating machine. Then onto an allergy test for 15 minutes. Then after two hours the second day I was told to come for a third day to finally see the good doctor for my treatment plan. On my third visit I was told that in order to reverse my autoimmune symptoms I would need more tests and vitamins and a nutritional plan. I was then showed the cost of each and I almost fell over! The cost of the entire Neuro-Metabolic Care Plan that was recommended for me to improve my illness was a whopping $10,000, BUT for a limited time offer (pun here) he would discount each service and my total cost would only be $2600.00!!!
I came in for a nutritional review and left there with a HUGE bill that he would forward to my insurance company and ZERO for me! The moment I asked about the cost of his vitamins, Dr. Maz stated he would not discuss, as I had to be his patient in order to purchase. I was given a Neurological, Metabolical and Structural test that I did not want or need, was told my insurance would cover it, not to worry, and that I could come and be brought to optimal health. I knew then something was off and told them I could not come back. I received my Explanation of Benefits from my Insurance Company and guess what... he charged them over 7 Grand!!! They paid him close to 5 Grand!!! THEY PAID HIM!!! AND... I cannot even get a chiropractic treatment covered for a REAL Doctor!
DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!!! -Call your insurance company FIRST before seeing a service like this. Very disappointed and upset AND betrayed! It's because of these type of "doctors" that our insurance is rejecting legitimate alternative healthcare treatments.

Best doctors office around. If you need spinal decompression or natural pain relief this is the place to go. I highly recomend this place.

Where do I begin...

Living with neuropthy almost ruined my life...

After going to see Dr Maz from Medwell in midland park, I was shocked how fast they came up with a treatment plan for me that WORKED!

Never before have I had the numbness and tingling in my feet relived since the symptoms started...
