Great communication with the staff (especially Laura, the tech) and the surgeon, Dr. Leyva. They kept us informed throughout the day, and we got to speak to the surgeon just as he got out of the operating room with our dog, Junebug.
Recently took my dog Delia for emergency care and follow up with internist Dr.Tumalty .The staff was very professional and I.was pleased with the DrTumalty.’s exam and recommendations for my girl. He explained all and answered all my. questions pertaining to her condition.I would see.them again if needed .
I recently visited this location because my 13 year old yorkie was having health issues. She had been having trouble breathing and I had to rush her to my local 24 hour emergency veterinary twice in the past two weeks. They were not able to define what was really wrong with her, so they recommended that I take her to LIVS. So glad that I brought my fur baby here. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. You can tell they truly love animals there. The doctors are very knowledgeable and they were able to give me an answer to what was wrong with my yorkie. So glad that I was referred to go there. Don’t hesitate to go there. I should have gone there first but they are not that close to me. Get that referral from your vet and go to LIVS.
Our beloved "little white dog" has a corneal ulcer. Everyone at the center has been so professional and caring. While Dr. Kim has been outstanding, we appreciate the whole team from the vet techs to the cashiers and receptionists. How wonderful that this very special place is right here on Long Island!
I have never seen such a well oiled machine as the LIVS The staff is most friendly and informative. My lab Molly has ulcerated corneas and we saw Dr Sapienza, he was amazing as was his nurses. The level of care and information was outstanding. Molly was immediately at ease, which made the visit go smoothly. I would trust him with my eyes.
