Sore Feet? Try CBD

Nearly 80% of U.S. adults suffer from foot pain, yet only 1 in 3 adults seek medical attention for their ailments. Fortunately, there is an alternative, even for those hesitant to try prescription drugs. Whether the pain is due to arthritis, blisters or another podiatric ailment, CBD products might be just the thing for many of them.

For some people, this extract mimics the performance of prescription-strength medications. Read on to learn how some have soothed sore feet with CBD, no prescription necessary.

What's the Cause?

Sometimes foot pain stems from back problems. Sciatica, bulging discs or other spinal issues, may cause pain to radiate down the legs and into the feet. Note that foot pain without leg pain typically comes from other, specifically foot-centered conditions, not back-related issues.

People with back problems might experience pain relief from topical CBD applications, even if the pain comes from a chronic condition. Those who suspect their foot pain comes from their spine may want to apply gel or cream directly to the lower back rather than to their feet. They might also consider taking CBD pills or powder to see if it helps fight inflammation. (Always speak to a physician first.)

Et Tu, Arthritis?

As we age, our risk of developing osteoarthritis increases. Left untreated, arthritis can create pain that makes it difficult to walk, run or even stretch the soles and toes. This pain may appear as cramping, dull aches or sharp, shooting sensations. Research seems to indicate that CBD may help alleviate osteoarthritis-related pain by reducing joint inflammation. CBD may also hinder the development of nerve damage in arthritic joints, which makes it ideal for preventative measures as well as pain flare-ups.

But What About Blisters, Cuts and Scrapes?

Tight shoes, barefoot adventures and pedicure scrubs-gone-wrong can damage the skin on our feet, resulting in blisters or abrasions. These injuries can become infected if we fail to treat them properly, which is why we might consider CBD oil, gel or cream — it turns out that CBD also has antibacterial and antifungal properties, so topical CBD products may help prevent infection. CBD also seems to reduce inflammation, so it may help reduce the size of blisters by revving up the healing process.

Other Aches and Pains, Too?

Sometimes feet ache from a grueling workday or workout. Other times, they may feel stiff or sore without an obvious reason why. In these situations, CBD products may provide general pain relief similar to that of prescription medications. Of course, those anti-inflammatory properties help alleviate all sorts of minor aches and pains, and may even help heal the body or allow it to heal, anyway.

CBD is often touted as a modern-day wonder drug, despite limited research about its benefits, so consider that it may or may not work and look for research for whatever specific condition you have in mind. If you decide to test drive this popular supplement, make sure you let your healthcare providers know and check in with the pharmacist to be sure there won't be interactions you hadn't planned for. Even substances that are naturally derived have the potential to interact with prescription drugs or over-the-counter medications. But they also have the potential to help us feel better than we have in a long time.

Special thanks to HACK VANISH, a professional hacker I’ve been hiring for the past 2 years because, I find him to be an outstanding hacker who has aided me in various hacking related issues, ranging from fixing my poor FICO credit score of about 437 TransUnion, 462 Equifax to 802 plus excellent score, tracking my cheating husband’s phone and currently has helped me recover my lost crypto funds from an online scam investment I recently ventured into, I must confess he is the best, quite brilliant, ever since I discovered him through a positive review I saw on Wallet Hub and reached out to him via Email: HACKVANISH @ GMAIL. COM, and Phone: +1(747) 293-8514, to which he responded in less than 10mins, I have never regretted working with him, he’s been quite helpful and highly efficient. I Would recommend his services to anyone without hesitation.

I moved from NY to Scottsdale AZ in late 2014. 6 months later I was experiencing excruciating feet pain. Saw three foot drs and none of them told me that my pain was coming from the discs in my lumbar. More injections of cortisone into my feet needlessly. I saw a 'Top' spine surgeon in PHX (that's what he told me 3 times) and he reviewed my MRI. The surgeon NEVER informed me after reviewing my MRI, that I must have hip/leg and feet pain. I would have told him, YES - and then he could have performed spine surgery at all three levels. Moved to So Cal in 2017 and drs at UCI wanted to IMPLANT a pain mgt box near my hip area. When my pain kicked in (ALL THE TIME), I was to play around with this remote control that would send a signal to the pain box. I had to TELL BOTH of the drs in the room, that there is an UNDERLYING problem coming from my lumbar that needs to be addressed !! I don't need a damn pain box IMPLANTED in me. The spine surgeon and neurosurgeon at UCI did not want to budge. I told them both - good bye. I asked my great pain mgt dr. in Mission Viejo, Dr. King to refer me to a spine surgeon. I was referred to a GREAT spine surgeon named Dr. Robert Jackson. I brought to my appt with Dr. Jackson all my supporting docs from the last 11 years detailing my spine issues. As soon as Dr. Jackson came into my exam room, I started speaking 100 mph's on why I needed spine surgery. Who wants to have spine surgery ? My 5th metatarsal on my left foot felt like it was in a meat grinder for 2 years - 24 x 7. I asked the foot dr from the PHX Suns in 2016 to amputate my toe ! That is how bad the pain was. The PHX Suns dr. didn't have the common sense to refer me to a spine surgeon. Dr. ROBERT JACKSON told me that I don't have to convince him about having surgery. Dr. Jackson looked at my UCI MRI and I had done a year earlier and said the magic words : I need surgery. When you have hip or leg or feet pain and you are 40 or older - most probably it's your lumbar discs pinching on the L4, L5 or S1 nerve. All 3 of these nerves travel thru your buttocks and hip area, down your legs and into your feet. As we get older, we start to get spinal stenosis. The nerve roots that come out from your spine get pinched because the spinal canals starts to shrink and the nerves get pinched. The canals have to be widened, so the nerves are not pinched. A few inches off the spine to each side are your facet joints. Bone spurs can form in the facet joints that pinch on nerves. That will give you a sharp pain like a knife is stabbing you in the back. The surgeon has to drill the bone spurs down with a special tool. If the surgeon does not take the time to explain all this to you - find another doctor. Doctor's have working relationships with pharmaceutical companies. Be WARY of these doctors. They will want to FUSE 2 of your spine vertebrae's. The dr. does not tell you that he gets a kick back from the pharma company every time he implants a device in your body. The dr. will not tell you that by fusing 2 of your vertebrae's together, it will cause arthritis to other parts of your spine around 4 to 5 years down the line. This will occur because your spine will not be able to move naturally because of the fusion. When any joint does not move in your body, what happens ? It gets stiff and forms arthritis. The doctor does not tell you that your healing time might be around 10 months after spine fusion. If your spine is fused, a TEETER INVERSION TABLE WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU. I bought the table 2 months ago and the table is fabulous. I hang at around a 140 degree angle (180 totally upside down) for 15 mins - 2 times a day and it decompresses by spine discs. Buy and try the table before rushing for spine surgery. Bad things can happen that would cause you much grief from a botched surgery. In Feb of 2020, my Las Vegas spine surgeon was pushing so hard for me to have fusion done to my spine. I had to go back & forth with him and his M.A. a few times, insisting that I did not want fusion. Less than 2 years earlier (after Dr. Jackson's post-op report) my report from my 2018 spine surgery which was a great successes, stated that I would not need any fusion because my spine condition was NOT in bad shape. I had NOT done anything in the following 2 years leading into 2020 that would warrant a spine fusion. I was retired and sleeping 12 hrs a day. The spine surgeon in Las Vegas stuck it to me right before my 2020 surgery because I refused to allow him to fuse my vertebrae's. My surgery was set for 2pm. I arrived to the hospital at noon. They always want you there 2 hrs before surgery. At 5 pm, my spine surgeon Dr. Lee was at the foot of my bed trying to talk me out of having surgery for nearly 30 minutes. My pain was now MUCH worse because I was sitting in a chair for FIVE hours waiting to have my surgery. I told Dr. Lee - Lets go. They took me into the operating room at 6 pm. Dr. Lee's surgery was NOT successful. I still had right foot pain 3 1/2 months after the surgery to the right side of my spine. I took ONE trip back to CA to have a different surgery and my right foot pain was back the first week of July 2020. Dr. Lee did a TERRIBLE job treating me. And to think, I catered his entire office (30 workers) lunch three times to show my appreciation was stupid. I required another spine surgery in the Fall of 2020, after many procedures to ease my hip/leg and feet pain would NOT go away by good drs at the D.O.C.. Dr. Lee had me do an MRI in Sept of 2020. Dr. Lee said the results were inconclusive. Dr. Lee had me do another MRI with contrast and a CT scan. Dr. Lee stated after those tests, that I did not need surgery. My PCP dr in NV read my MRI report and told me that the report shows a lot of disc damage. My L3/L4 disc even had a 'free fragment' - which means a piece of my disc broke off and was pinching on one of my nerves that was causing excruciating pain through my entire leg and foot. DR. DANIEL LEE FAILED ME MISERABLY. Learn the terminology that is written in your MRI or CT scan reports. I 'trusted' Dr. Lee that I did not need spine surgery. I moved to another State last year and other drs were telling me that I needed spine surgery asap. These other drs were telling me what some of the words meant in my MRI report I had done in NV - in Sept and Oct of 2020. SHAME on YOU - DR. DANIEL LEE !!! In 2018, Dr. Robert Jackson did surgery to the left side of my spine. From the first minute I woke from his surgery - my left foot pain was gone 100%. Choosing the right spine surgeon is so important.
