Dr. Gregas's office is so welcoming. Everyone there is conscientious always. I never have any problems with my glasses

My family has been with Doctor Gregas almost 15 years now. Her professionalism, her knowledge, and her attention, to each of us individually is truly impressive. Even heart-warming (spoken as a mom). I'd like to also mention that I am one whom appreciates the more 'personable' type of offices... the not so cold and 'sterile' such as a lot of doctor's offices and the 'chain-store' types... every single time I have been to her office my family feels 'welcomed', the staff are not only just as insightful as she, but show a rare, sincere kindness to everyone. Such a breath of fresh air in this day and age. Oh and I must mention the wide-variety of eyeglasses are amazing!

The doctor is good but it does not override the rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff. I have been there for two years and I decided I had enough and will not return. The staff attempt to rush you out when you are trying to pick out frames. The whole office appears to be gearing up to close early. So this year when I had my husband call to get their closing time they told him 4:30. I recalled that the office was open till 5 pm from past eye exam and frame pick up. When I called two minutes later I was told the office closed at 4:00 to 4:15. So I asked point blank "what are the official office hours there?" Sure enough she said five pm. So I was not imagining the big rush over the last two years that starts a little before four. When my insurance was not covering the glasses and frames last year they wanted $580.00 for a simple pair of glasses nothing fancy mild correction. I went elsewhere and paid about $160.00 for a similar pair. They lie about their stock to if they want you to leave more quickly. This staff is over the top and I will never return to this doctor again because of them.

I love how much attention to detail Dr. Gregas shows and Kim and Marney, (?sp) are awesome also. They are always so careful and meticulous. I will absolutely return for all of my eyecare needs. I had an a very professional, thorough experience and was extremely impressed with Dr. Gregas expertise. When I had an eye emergency after office hours, all of the information I needed to reach them was on the answering machine message including direct way to reach the doctor on call as well as Dr. Gregas herself. She returned my call within 3 minutes and the office called me back before office hours as they have someone start early and check the messages, looking for any concerns their patients may have had!

Our whole family loves Dr. Gregas! She is really wonderful and has always treated us with kindness and compassion. I have very strange eye "issues" and many docs have not been able to figure them out. She has always known what to do, what prescription to put me in, and when to refer me out to a specialist. She and her staff have also worked with us when we needed to buy glasses, but couldn't afford full price. They also, by far, have the best and most unique selection of frames that I have ever seen. We first went to her because she takes straight Medicaid and Medicaid HMOs, but I will continue going to her when my insurance changes. I trust her 110% percent with my eye care and the eye care of my family. She really is awesome!!

I have been going here for several years and EVERY time they try to charge me more than my insurance plan's copay/deductible. I have to argue with them and call my insurance directly while I'm in the office with them. Only then do they relent. Luckily for me, I am informed of my plans benefits and pay what I should. I worry about the people who don't know and pay whatever they are told at this office. I have complained to my insurance company, but it's always the same. Despite this, I continue going back because I like the doctor and they have a good selection of eye glasses, even though they are quite pricey.
