Fantastic physician. He has been my family's doctor for 21 years. His vast medical knowledge and caring bedside manner will keep us as patients. He has a genuine concern for his patients that extend beyond their physical health. His staff is always professional and very friendly. I recommend Dr. Sam to everyone.

He does not take "Doctor/patient confidentiality" seriously. He told me that I did not have to test for mental illness because he has been the doctor for the family for years.

My Husband and I were transferred to Dr. Yunez because our Primary Doctor went on a well deserved sabatical,I found Dr. Yunez understanding and helpful,staff has been very friendly and understanding in my opinion!! Receptionist has been decent and helpful, nurses and medical assistants, the same!! Can't say anything negative, at this time!!

I had been with Dr. Yunez for a number of years mostly because all my medical history is in his office, so when my insurance ran out I could not afford to go anywhere else. I have known him and his staff to be rude and unprofessional for most of this time. The doctor, comes off to me to be more concerned about making money for his hospital affiliations and circle of doctor friends than worried about what I am able to afford financially. I have lost my disability payments because his office failed to respond to requests from the insurance company. I am now in jeopardy of not being approved for social security because of the inaction of this doctor's office. I recently have been scheduled for surgery for a knee replacement and could not afford to pay for a procedure that he wanted me to have done and 1 day before the surgery I find out that he will not give a clearance letter to the surgeon because I did not have the procedure done and the surgeon said it was not necessary. I would avoid this doctor at all costs if you value your health and bank account.

One star for this guy is way too many. Talk about an arrogant, hot tempered, obese man trying to promote living a healthier lifestyle. My uncle is in the hospital and I asked one question, he turned, looked at me asked who I was, and had the nerve to say, "Oh see you're a NOBODY. Let me talk to MY patient and if you have any ?'s you can ask YOUR uncle when I'm gone." My uncle was having 6-7 seizures a day, this stupid wannabe neurologist took him off his seizure medication because he felt the meds were TOO HIGH!!! Then he had the nerve to say my uncle is experiencing temp memory loss! YOU FRIGGIN IDIOT - he was having seizures with you in the room and you didn't even know it. Read other reviews online about him and see what a piece of MIERDA this guy really is - waiting 2+ hours to sit in the same room with this guy is DEFINITELY NOT worth it. There are plenty of great doctors in Elmhurst and Melrose Park for anyone to have to settle on having to see this idiot.
