Hello,

I just want to say that I was very pleased by my experience at Parkway Dental in Sneelville, Ga. I am in as a new patient recently and saw Dr. Patel. I was taken back right on my appointment time and was taken care of. The lady that was taking my x-rays was Wendy and a girl named Jessica was taking care of me too. They did an amazing job getting me back and trying to make me feel at comfort. When Dr. Patel came in to look at my tooth that was hurting badly, I immediately felt at ease. He is the most soft spoken dentist I encountered. He was even able to take care of me on the same day! Thank you for getting me out of the pain I was in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Currently disputing charges for general cleaning services that were rendered. Was assured by office staff member that despite notifications from Insurance carrier Parkway would still be able to accept insurance provider. This assurance was made by an individual who is no longer at Parkway Dental (how convenient). Now I am being billed the full amount and the office is claiming account must be paid in full. I feel I was was lured in for what they knew would be one last visit as my carrier no longer lists them as a PPO.

I am having the same problems as some of the others. I paid a price for a service and signed off that I agreed to pay and then 3 months later I have a bill for almost $500 saying its past due. This was the first bill I ever received and they did not say I will owe them any more money. I also thought the dentist was in my network but he is not. I'm sure they knew this when they processed my claim before the procedure took place. Now, they want more money or it goes against my credit. They are not up front about the costs of dental procedures before it takes place. They are crooks.

I have been going to Parkway Dental since I moved to Gwinnett County. However, lately I've been having problems resolving my account. Donna Bell has not been honest and is charging me for a missed appointment - an appointment I know nothing about. Even though I have since evidence that these phone calls she's claiming we had never happened. I now have started getting passed due bills on charges that she told me I didn't have to pay. I have informed them that my husband and I won't be returning to this practice and no one even seems to care. That's quite disheartening. Reading the other reviews lets me know that I'm not the only one experiencing problems with this practice. Strangely I've had quite a bit of pain eating after getting fillings too. I was thinking it was just me but reading the other review had me rethinking some things.

All I have to say this dentistry is ridiculous. As a new customer you ask if my insurance is in their network and they tell you yes and even give you estimate as they look it up and tell you how much my portion of pay is. So you agree to pay and get your examine and month later I get a bill. I call and they explain that I was entered as a non network and that they will waive the fee. So thinking that it was corrected I go back six months later and I get an estimate and I pay my portion and month later I get another bill. I call and ask to look into my bill and they say they will call me back. Twice they did that and never called back. So on the third time they explain that my insurence is out of network and that I owe this portion and that the estimate and the portion I pay was just an estimate and that the real cost is pretty much up in the air. Donna who is the person that I dealt with said that she waiwed the first time just because I was upset and that she was certain that she told me it was a one time waive and my insurance was out of network. Well which dumbass is going to go back if they were told that they would have to pay a lot more because insurance is only going to cover so little especially when there are hundreds of dentist office that my insurance is in network. Also I am pretty sure there is a seperate estimate that they provide for those who are out of network and in network because I have been to other dentist throughout my life and they were pretty clear and accurate with providing what is and not covered.
Overall service is average but in the billing department they really need to get it together and clear for their customers.

My old dentist left after they moved into this new building. The new staff is not near as attentive as the old group. My bills have been triple what they were before and they can't seem to get the insurance portion straightened out. Even with the bill growing, they keep trying to sell me other expensive services. I think I am going to move my family's business elsewhere.

Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I have never seen a coupon for this provider, nor do they ever have specials or promotions going on. I don't think they like to help people save money. They weren't very understanding or caring, and they didn't show empathy for my situation. I could tell I wasn't their primary concern.

I never have to worry about them overbooking appointments. They definitely believe in quality over quantity here. I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They have a beautiful new office, maybe that's why the bill is so high.
