Continuous problems getting supplies.

Wow, if I could give them zero stars I would. Now that they have switched to Byram Healthcare it is a joke! They bill everything differently so insurance is messed up. They don't mail anything for weeks and when I call in they say it's because the warehouse is out. A supervisor eventually sais to only call in and talk to her if I ever need anything. Well, I have called her numerous times and sent her emails trying to get her help and she won't get back to me either. Not to mention the 40 minute wait every time you call just to talk to someone. (I have been trying to order supplies for Type 1 Diabetes)

I was surprised to see such poor reviews of DSC, I've never had one problem with them and every time I have called they have bended over backwards to help me and my daughter....every time. Just last week I had a huge issue and both Kathy and Maisey helped me and found ways to help get my daughters insulin order pushed through. Amazing and so appreciated!!!!!! Diabetes is such a horrible disease, I am grateful to have a company that I can count on to help me. I will never forget the kindness and compassion that was shown to me last week. Again, I've always had great help and care when calling them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!!!!!!

Horrible, horrible horrible. That is the only way I can describe my experience with them. Everyone else that has written a review has touched on the same type of experience I had so I won't write it again, but please do not use them, they should not be rewarded with money for the way they treat customers and lie and create stress.

Una compañía irresponsable con sus clientes. Pasó los días llamando y nadie contesta ni los mensajes ni el teléfono me he visto por mi seguro médico obligada a usarla, no deberían permitir compañías así.

Sold me out dated supplies and when I returned them they didn't even apologize. The boss, Rick never even looked up at me. Office staff clueless. Hope I never have to go there again.

I was forced to use DSC by my insurance, only because I don't want to pay out of network penalties do I use them ... I was 30+ minutes on the phone to talk with anyone and it takes 4+ days for anyone to get back to you. I wish companies like this would realize that they actually work with real people and treat their customers that way.

I've been waiting a month for supplies that normally take 2 - 3 days to receive. Each time I call, I'm given different reasons why I haven't received my supplies.

One rep told me my supplies were delivered & left on my front porch over a week ago. I questioned how that could happened since they were delivering to a business & a signature was required. She told me to call the postal service to file a complaint.

Another rep said they were waiting for chart info from my doctor that was previously faxed. I called back & was advised they needed a new RX which I also confirmed was faxed.

I finally spoke to a supervisor who admitted the rep didn't submit my order & she would overnight my supplies & call back to follow up.
I'm still waiting for my supplies & the phone call.
I'd pay more to work with a reputable company, intelligent reps, remain on the auto refill list & receive my supplies in a timely manner instead of placing orders & calling everyday to follow up with a different rep.

Having a chronic illness like Type I diabetes is stressful enough without having to deal with a company like Diabetes Specialty Center on top of it all. I have had diabetes for 29 years and this is honestly the worst company I think I've ever had to work with. It's not the people - nearly everyone I've worked with has been professional and genuinely seemed to want to help; I believe their system(s) and mechanism of communication within departments is fatally flawed. Examples: (1) Items and bills get sent to the wrong address, despite repeated calls and written requests to delete my former address. (2) I recently had to provide my new insurance information 4 DIFFERENT TIMES before they finally got the right information distributed throughout the company; meanwhile I'm not getting my Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitor supplies, which I rely on greatly. (3) When I ordered a new insulin pump, I had to go through DSC as the preferred distributor. When I got the new pump and supplies, DSC failed to mail a key component - it turns out they were backordered, but I wouldn't have known this if I hadn't called DSC to figure out what was going on - there was no information in the package to explain the situation or a phone call to let me know. This was particularly frustrating because I'd explicitly told them upfront when my upcoming meeting for pump training was - I was assured that I would have everything I needed, which turned out not to be true.

All in all, it's been a horrible 2 years working with them, to the point that I'm finally writing this review (this is only the second bad review I've ever given in my life). If I had a choice, I would most certainly take my business elsewhere.
