Very good bed side manner and very clear on explanation of the procedure and all the follow up activities involved. His staff is excellent and treated me very well.

Excellent medical care. Great facilities. Scheduling was easy. Only issue I did not like was I did not receive a call (as I was told I would) the week prior to the procedure explaining all the prep for the colonoscopy. All I received was a lengthy email that was hard to understand.

I suggest better communication among various providers' offices. I found myself filling out the same information over and over, only to have it asked again the day of the procedure. This should all be in one place, accessible to all involved.

I appreciate that Dr. McGowan is very up-to-date on research regarding my gastro issues. I also feel that he spends time really listening to my symptoms and concerns before the examination. The time he spends with me is not rushed and I feel I have his complete attention for the duration of the visit.

Dr. McGowan is the best, he is very nice and his office makes you feel very relaxed and at ease. Tesha his assistant is a pleasure to work with and very personable.

From the first visit two years ago, I knew that Dr. McGowan would remain my doctor. He truly seems to care about his patients, and always allows plenty of time to discuss my concerns. He and his staff are very responsive and always respond quickly to calls and messages. From the front desk to the nurses and technicians, my interactions with everyone at Cary Gastroenterology have been positive without exception.

Dr. McGowan is efficient, focused, and fast. The nursing staff worked the same way taking their direction from Dr. McGowan. Dr. McGowan works very hard to maintain the schedule and places extra time between appointments to make sure it says that way.
