I visited AFC in Hallandale Beach Florida for Covid testing. I was told to do a rapid antigen charged a lot of money which came back negative and then they told me I had to do one that’s sent out. I wanted a refund because they did not give me any education on these tests. Later to find out the one that is sent out is the one that I needed. I argued with management and she would not give me a refund. Very rude very unprofessional. There are no providers guiding you on which test to take you’re just told what to do.
Very concerned at visit today...I am high risk person and Dr. came in with mask below his nose!!! I asked him to please put his mask on properly .Then to top that off when he got closer to listen to my heart noticed a breathing valve on the side of his black mask. I pointed that out to him that he was not protecting me wearing that and he acted like he did not know he had that type of mask on? After backing up from listening to my heart he did go outside patient room and put on the proper type of mask. WOW considering COVID 19 shouldn't your Doctors wear the correct mask and in the correct manner?
I HAVE VISITED THE PANAMA CITY BEACH FACILITY,TWICE IN THE PAST MONTH...IMPRESSION,,EXCELLENT STAFF,SERVICE,FACILITY..DR BILAL ISLAM AND DR MUHAMMAD SHAABAN ARE SUPERIOR PROVIDERS,,THEY BOTH LISTEN TO THE PATIENT,AND ARE NOT IN A RUSH....HAVING BEEN A HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR FOR 20 YEARS,I SEE IN BOTH THESE INDIVIDUALS,STAFF I WOULD HIRE IN A MINUTE. THE NURSING STAFF AND RECEPTION STAFF ARE COURTEOUS.AND HELPFUL
If i could give less than 1 star i would. I was seen at the Ft Oglethorpe GA location in December of 2017 and they didn't submit billing to my insurance company until september of 2018. By that point my company had changed insurance plans and would not cover the old bill. Now these people are trying to stick me with a bill they failed to submit for 10 months. Called their customer service line, which is a joke, and they were no help either. Been trying to contact their corporate headquarters but have yet been unsuccessful at that too. Seems like my only recourse is to file a complaint with the state medical board concerning unfair and untimely billing practices. Good thing a family friend is an attorney. May end up needing her.
Today I called and spoke with Kim in the billing office...claims for my husband and myself...as spoke with Kim...she found my husbands claims...quick...my claims....were a different story...Kim became Sherlock Holmes...she found my claims...she now looked at both of our claims...Kim was calm...caring...compassionate and professional...she let me know that she clean up everything...and she told me she would put notes in...to prevent this from happening...in the future...I truly appreciate her...for being so Kind,
I have been trying to contact these people for months. To no human contact besides the rude, people that work in doctors offices in the Trussville area. This same place put me in the hospital for two days from anaphylaxis shock, from a shot they gave me. I wait couple years go back and their practicing doctor, orders the same shot, that is on my chart that I am not to have, but the nurse, caught it and did not give it to me. Now, they want more money from me. I do not recommend them to NOBODY.

I really don't know why I gave it a one (1) star, it was not deserving at all. This was at the Decatur, Al Clinic, the ladies at the reception was o.k., it took some time to get back to a room. No one was in the waiting room when I arrived. I was carried back to a room, waited 45 minutes on a Doctor, she got an Xray and then told me if I THOUGHT IT WAS A TENDEN SHE COULDN"T HELP ME. I did not tell her or anyone else that it was a tenden. I got up and walked out, this woman that called herself a Doc is really a nut. Yes, I am 74 yo and have a niece that is a doctor, I know a little, this woman don't. Stay away so you won't get hurt

Visited the American Family Care on Highway 280 in Birmingham, AL twice to get a simple TB shot and both times my family and I were treated badly. We are an active duty military family and the clinic manager, Allesha Coleman spoke very rudely to us and refused to contact the military insurance company to verify our plan which required no out of pocket payment. She told us it did not matter what our insurance company said about our coverage, but we had to pay whatever fee they said, even though the clinic has a contract with the government that must be honored!! I've been to many clinics and doctors offices over the years and never been treated so rudely and the contract of no co-pay or upfront out-of-pocket expenses are standard across the country. Ironically, my husband was treated at this same clinic 2 months prior and they honored the active duty contract!!! We will never use or recommend this clinic again due to the unprofessional and poor treatment we received.
